Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Amino Analysis collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit aminoanalysis.com, create an account, sign in with Google, read newsletters, submit peptide suggestions, or use related tools and educational content.

It applies to our website, account features, newsletter archive, dosing calculator, peptide directory, protocol content, and related communications. It does not govern third-party sites, products, or services that may be linked from Amino Analysis and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with the service.

  • Account and identity information. When you create an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, authentication credentials, and account identifiers. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive basic profile information made available through Google, such as your name, email address, and profile image.
  • Session and security information. We maintain session records and process data such as session tokens, IP address, and browser or device user-agent information to authenticate users, keep sessions active, prevent abuse, and secure the service.
  • Communications and newsletter information. We process your email address, name, subscription or contact status, and message-delivery metadata so we can send account emails, password-reset emails, verification emails, and newsletter or editorial communications. We may also receive bounce, suppression, and unsubscribe-related information from our email provider.
  • Feedback and submissions. If you submit a peptide suggestion or similar feedback, we collect the content you submit, the peptide or page referenced, and the submission timestamp.
  • Technical and operational data. Our infrastructure and hosting providers may process standard request, browser, device, and diagnostic information needed to render the site, maintain performance, troubleshoot issues, and protect the platform.

Information We Do Not Intend to Collect

Amino Analysis is an educational platform. Unless we specifically ask for it in a particular workflow, do not send us medical records, lab results, insurance information, government ID numbers, payment card data, or other highly sensitive health or financial information.

How We Collect Information

We collect information directly from you when you create an account, sign in, submit a form, or contact us. We also collect information automatically through core website and authentication functionality, and we may receive information from third parties you choose to use with the service, such as Google for social sign-in.

How We Use Information

We use personal information to operate, secure, and improve Amino Analysis. This includes providing access to account features, authenticating users, maintaining sessions, sending transactional emails, delivering newsletters and editorial communications, reviewing submissions, monitoring performance, preventing fraud or misuse, complying with legal obligations, and enforcing our Terms.

Depending on where you live, we rely on one or more legal bases for processing, including performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and compliance with legal obligations.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may disclose information in the following limited situations:

  • Service providers and infrastructure vendors. We use vendors that help us host, secure, authenticate, and communicate through the service, including Cloudflare for infrastructure and hosting and Resend for transactional and newsletter email delivery.
  • Identity providers you choose. If you sign in with Google, Google processes information under its own terms and privacy policy and shares account information with us as part of the sign-in flow you initiate.
  • Professional advisors and legal compliance. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or support audits, security, or legal review.
  • Business transfers. If Amino Analysis is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Amino Analysis uses essential cookies and similar technologies to support sign-in, session management, security, and related authentication functions. Our authentication stack uses cookies for items such as session tokens, session data, and OAuth state. In production, these cookies are configured to be httpOnly and secure.

We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral advertising trackers on the public site based on the current codebase. You can configure your browser to block cookies, but core account and sign-in features may not function correctly if you do so.

Email Communications and Unsubscribe Choices

We send transactional emails that are necessary to operate the service, such as account verification, password reset, and security-related messages. If you maintain an account, you may continue to receive these service messages when required.

We may also send newsletter or editorial emails. You can opt out of non-essential marketing or editorial messages by using the unsubscribe mechanism included in those emails or by contacting us at the email address below. Unsubscribe requests may take a reasonable period to process.

Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account history, send requested communications, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the sensitivity of the data, the purpose for which it was collected, and our legal or operational needs.

When information is no longer needed, we may delete it, de-identify it, or retain limited archival copies where required for backup, security, legal, or compliance purposes.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, know, correct, update, delete, restrict, object to, or request portability of personal information we hold about you. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

California residents may have rights under the CCPA or CPRA, including rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit the use of sensitive personal information, and receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights. Amino Analysis does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To submit a privacy request, email us at the address below. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests. We may deny or limit requests where permitted by law, including when we need information to maintain security, complete transactions you requested, comply with legal obligations, or enforce our agreements.

International Processing

Amino Analysis is operated using providers and infrastructure that may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws where you live. By using the service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those jurisdictions, subject to appropriate contractual or operational safeguards where required.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission, storage, or security control is perfect, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Amino Analysis is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to review and delete the information where required.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the last-updated date above and may provide additional notice when required by law. Your continued use of the service after an updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy will apply going forward.
